| Originally from Guyra, I have been working in the Travel Industry since 2005. My first position was with Scenic Tours located in Newcastle.
In 2013 I made the decision to come closer to home and secured my position at Greenhills Travel Centre. I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively through Europe, UK, Ireland and Scotland. I have also been to West Coast Canada with Scenic Tours, Hawaii, South Pacific Islands, Thailand, Dubai and Bali.
After 3 months traveling around North and South America in 2013/14, I cannot put into words how fantastic my travels were, and I now use my knowledge of these destinations to make my client's holiday very special.
I escorted my first group tour to Japan in 2019, I thought be a tour escort would be a doddle. Not so, it was a lot harder than I envisioned but still I would do it all over again.
Visited Iceland in September 2019. What an amazing experience, especially being lucky enough to see the Northern Lights dancing across the skies.
March 2020 I had the chance to visit India but this was cut short by COVID 19. Luckily my Boss, Curly, got me out in time before they closed the borders, so will have to go back again.
Now I have experienced first hand a problem when travelling that can be fixed by a travel agent as the airlines were no help whatsoever.
